Temat: Starting an Exercise Routine ...to get there. Motivation was probably the main reason why I left, but transportation was another thing. With body weight excercises, you can do them whenever, whereever, however. With weights and gym equipment, you can't really take them with you, at anytime, and if you have wrong technique, they will hurt you. That isn't to say bad form on body-weight wont hurt though. I'm starting to ramble aren't I. Anyway, a basic started guide was written up on the Parkour Australia forums: Pretty much all joints and muscles are used in PK, so this program is designed to provide functional strength for the whole body. If you want to give it a go, I suggest copying it out. Try to work out with someone else, some of the exercises are easier this way, and you'll push yourself harder.
